Ye Eun 'Ruth' Kim

Ruth is originally from South Korea. She received her bachelors in Human Biology from UC San Diego. As an undergraduate she worked at the lab of Dr. Willis Li where she studied the role of RanBP3 in regulating signal molecules. Since joining the Tessier-Lavigne lab, she is focused on investigating the role of BTBD proteins in Wallerian degeneration and also interested in the mechanisms that control axon degeneration.

Ruth since moved back to her home country.
