Ze Yang

Originally from Xi’an, China, Ze earned a BE in system engineering from Beihang University, a MS in biomedical science from ECNU, and a PhD from Stanford University working with Or Gozani on epigenetics in diseases in 2016. He joined Mary Hynes lab as a postdoctoral to study Parkinson’s disease and worked on biological roles of novel RNA in embryonic stem cells. Then he joined the President’s lab as a Senior Research Scientist and also acts as the Lab Manager for the Tessier-Lavigne lab. Ze is working on discovering neurodegenerative diseases biomarkers in the blood by multi-omic approaches with the goal to develop next generation diagnostic and prognostic tests for clinics.
